Marmalade SDK
Milo joined the Marmalade SDK team to help modernize and maintain one of the most respected cross-platform game development frameworks of its time. Known for powering titles like Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle, and Draw Something, Marmalade SDK enabled developers to build high-performance games with a single C++ codebase and deploy them across iOS, Android, Windows, and more.
We worked closely with the core team in the UK, contributing to desktop development, tooling, and performance optimization during the final iterations of the SDK’s commercial lifecycle. Our job was to ensure the product remained reliable, developer-friendly, and competitive, even as the landscape of mobile and embedded platforms rapidly evolved.
Despite its eventual sunset, Marmalade SDK left a lasting legacy in the industry. We were proud to support its mission of helping developers build better games, faster—without compromising performance or portability.
Soloshot
SoloShot is a California-based startup that partnered with us to build something pretty remarkable — a camera that automatically tracks and films a person without anyone behind the lens. Designed for athletes, surfers, and creators who often shoot solo, it combines GPS tracking, sensors, and smart software to keep the subject perfectly framed from a distance.
Milo joined the team early on to help bring the entire product to life. Over two years, we handled end-to-end development: building a cross-platform desktop app, designing embedded software to communicate with the camera, and integrating all the moving parts into a smooth, reliable experience.
We helped take SoloShot from an idea to a working product that people now use every day to capture their training sessions, performances, and adventures — without a camera crew.
GelSight
We partnered with GelSight to build a desktop application that connects directly to their high-resolution tactile sensors — bringing microscopic surface data to life in real time.
Designed for engineers and researchers, the cross-platform app captures, visualizes, and processes 3D geometry from GelSight’s elastomeric devices. Users can inspect surface textures, detect defects, calibrate sensors, and export detailed reports — all from a fast, intuitive desktop environment.
Over a 6-month collaboration, we focused on speed, stability, and clarity — creating a seamless bridge between cutting-edge hardware and user-friendly analysis tools.
thingM
The ThingM project showcases our expertise in IoT (Internet of Things) and embedded systems. We developed a custom USB device with multi-color LEDs and a companion desktop application, creating a unique physical notification system. This project demonstrates our skills in C++ and Qt development, hardware-software integration, and creating user-friendly solutions for custom devices.
Fusion Building Automation System
Fusion Building Automation System is an industrial control and monitoring solution designed for large-scale facilities such as production halls and factories. This project demonstrates our ability to create sophisticated embedded systems with user-friendly interfaces for complex industrial applications.
TimeSys
TimeSys, a leader in embedded devices and IoT solutions, partnered with us to enhance their software capabilities for custom hardware. This collaboration showcases our expertise in optimizing applications for embedded systems, particularly in industries like automotive and medical. Our work with TimeSys demonstrates our ability to bridge the gap between hardware and software, creating efficient and user-friendly solutions for resource-constrained environments.
CarMate
CarMate set out to solve a familiar problem: booking car detailing services is often a hassle. Between unclear availability, clunky apps, and outdated systems, both drivers and detailing pros were missing out. This platform changes that.
We teamed up with CarMate’s founders to build a flexible, user-first solution from the ground up — a place where individual users can quickly book car wash or polishing appointments, and businesses can create accounts to offer their own services.
What makes CarMate stand out is the smart scheduling engine under the hood. Instead of relying on default calendar tools, we created a custom integration using FullCalendar, Cronofy, and the Google Calendar API to give users real control over their time. Combined with a local payment gateway (HyperPay), the platform is built for real-world use — especially in the Saudi market, where CarMate is launching first.
The result is a smooth, responsive web app that brings structure and simplicity to a traditionally messy industry.
