One of the recent studies I have read was about neuromarketing and researching how brain reacts to pictures, adverts, tv spots and all marketing materials that make us buy more. The example I will sum up here is about smoking.
I remember the time when I started learning programming and working with software development and the time when I got support from Qt Community. This affected the way I looked at sharing knowledge and perceived FOSS Communities.
Time was always main resource for developers (and people in general). So is the concentration, and retention of focus while working on tasks. Good automation tools allow to save time and keep you concentrated on your work rather than routine.
