A few years back, we got recommended by the GoExpedi founders to Stepwise – a freshly created startup based in Norway, dedicated to oil industry decarbonization. They needed help in setting up a pioneering SaaS platform with a robust analytics system for CO2 gas emission optimization on extraction rigs. The main goal was to create a product that accelerates the Nordics region’s energy sector towards the Net Zero environmental goal. In the end, we became Stepwise’s exclusive technical partner – thanks to our experience with startups and React, Django development.

Embedded systems and tailored-to-needs user interfaces (UI) are our specialty. A few years ago, ControlTech, a US-based company providing industrial automation services, contacted us seeking help in a robust software creation to decrease time-consuming control processes and machine maintenance. This project included UI/UX design, frontend and backend development, as well as the integration of embedded devices and sensors.

In 2021, we partnered with Gaiachain Lab to develop an original and sophisticated monitoring software for charcoal and cocoa producers in the Ivory Coast. The unending frauds, followed by inadequate resource traceability were a real issue in this region. Since we perceive blockchain as far more than just a fancy buzzword or cryptocurrency's backbone – we secured our C++ and Qt-based custom software with Algorand’s immutable nodes.

When it comes to unusual educational startups, just like the Run It Once (RIO), we often tend to go “all in”. Initially, we were only asked to join an already existing small developers’ team to provide our expertise in mobile and desktop development. This project encompassed embedded systems, C++, Qt framework development, and existing firmware improvement.
